The biggest gap in the Irish modular market is contemporary architect-led design — flat roofs, floor-to-ceiling glazing, modernist proportions. Loghouse's "Contemporary" range is still a log cabin with bigger windows; this page lists the operators who actually build the glass-and-frame aesthetic that Grand Designs viewers come asking for.
Why Loghouse can't deliver this
Loghouse's whole product system is interlocking solid-timber walls. The aesthetic ceiling of that system is "premium log house" — beautiful in its own right, but it can't credibly do flat-roof glass-box modernism. They've never tried, and the factory tooling wouldn't support it. To get contemporary you have to go to operators built around panel construction (SIPs, CLT) or steel-frame.

Most of the providers above are factories in Estonia, Latvia, Scotland or Ireland. For Baltic operators, confirm the written quote, payment schedule, delivery route, inspection point, Irish offload, and groundworks responsibility before you pay a deposit. The factory builds; the buyer still needs clear paperwork on who is responsible for each step. Read more on vs Loghouse or compare contemporary models side-by-side.
