Consultancy scope and customer safeguards

This page explains the service model. Each paid engagement will also receive a written consumer contract identifying deliverables, responsible professionals, price, timing, revisions, cancellation and complaints handling.

The €295 Garden Home Feasibility Review

Following a free fit call, suitable projects may receive a fixed-price preliminary review covering the client and project summary, potential Class 3A or alternative route, size calculation, unresolved facts, planning/Building Control/supplier-document risks, up to three model examples, documents and professional roles required, next steps and a quote for further work.

Excluded: a formal planning determination or Section 5 declaration, site survey, signed design, planning submission, engineering or architectural certification, legal or tax advice, supplier warranty, or guarantee of permission, exemption, compliance, cost or delivery.

Professional responsibility

OurHouse is the coordinating consultancy and contract holder for the agreed coordination scope. Drawings, applications, engineering, design opinions, Building Control and certifications that require a regulated or registered professional will name the professional responsible. Their registration, competence and professional indemnity cover must be checked before work begins.

Payments and cancellation

The €295 price is published now, but payment instructions are issued only after the free call confirms that the review is suitable and the final consumer contract is supplied. Any later planning, compliance, import or managed-project work is separately scoped and quoted. Cancellation rights, refund treatment, revision limits and complaint escalation will be stated in that contract before payment.

What OurHouse will not hold

The initial service does not accept construction deposits, supplier deposits, buyer funds or escrow money. Public forms do not accept document uploads. A secure post-engagement route will be used if documents are needed.

Commercial independence

Recommendations do not depend on which provider pays OurHouse. Any paid placement or referral relationship is visibly disclosed and does not alter evidence grades. Providers cannot buy a “verified” badge or suppress a negative evidence finding.

Operational launch gate

Before paid instructions are issued, OurHouse will confirm professional roles and insurance, OurHouse insurance, VAT/invoicing, intellectual-property rights for drawing adaptation, turnaround, fees, revisions, consumer contract terms and complaint handling.
