1. Who we are

ourhouse.ie is operated by [registered entity name to be confirmed], an Irish service business. We are the Data Controller for the personal data we process from website visitors, enquiry-form submissions, and provider partners.

2. What data we process

• Visitor analytics — first-party Matomo cookie (only if you accept cookies). Page views, referrer, anonymised IP. No marketing trackers, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel.
• Buyer enquiry form submissions — name, email, county, size band, budget, intended use, any additional notes you provide. Stored for follow-up correspondence and (with your consent) routing to relevant providers.
• Provider correspondence — for partner providers, the data needed to maintain the listing (contact details, products, pricing, listing tier).

3. Legal bases

• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract, for partner providers and brokerage clients.
• Article 6(1)(a) — consent, for the analytics cookie and for routing your buyer enquiry to specific providers.
• Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests, for responding to your initial enquiry and for site administration.

4. Sharing

If you submit a buyer enquiry and consent to provider routing, we forward the relevant fields (name, email, size band, budget, county, intended use, notes) to a maximum of three matched providers. We don't share data with marketing partners or sell data to third parties.

5. Retention

Buyer enquiries: 24 months unless an active correspondence is ongoing. Provider partner data: duration of the partnership plus 6 years. Analytics: aggregate after 13 months.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, rectify, erase (where applicable), restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing on legitimate-interests grounds. Direct any request to privacy@ourhouse.ie; we respond within one calendar month.

7. Complaints

You can complain to the Data Protection Commission (21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2 / 0761 104 800 / info@dataprotection.ie).

8. Changes

Material changes to this notice will be published on this page; the "Last updated" date will move accordingly.
